Close the summer with an intensive practice period in memory of Hakubai’s founding abbott, Kobun Chino Otagawa. Intensive meditation supports continuous practice in our day-to-day lives. The sesshin will include sitting (zazen), walking (kinhin), working (samu), and eating (oryoki) meditation, evening dharma talks, and meetings with the teacher.
The sesshin will be taught by Ekai Daichi, on Dogen and the Mountains and Rivers Sutra.
